A Cake Story reserves the right to cancel and refund any orders placed minus the shipping and service fees.

A Cake Story reserves the right to cancel any orders suspected of attempting to circumvent these restrictions by using alternative shipping addresses in allotted countries.

WARNING: ACS Tools (CakeTiles, CakeReliefs) are protected under copyright and IP. Attempts to recreate, copy, reverse engineer or imitate for the purposes of reselling is strictly prohibited. ACS Cerletti Cake Designs will enforce the strictest laws available towards those individuals or entities who attempt to recreate, copy, reverse engineer or imitate any of the ACS Tools for the purposes of reselling.

Orders will not deliver to P.O. Box addresses. Any orders placed using P.O. Box addresses will be cancelled/refunded MINUS shipping and fees.

Product Care:

Due to the green sustainable materials used in the production of A Cake Story design tools, it is very important to follow handling a care instructions as described. 

 

ACS Shop is not responsible for damages to products occurred as a result of improper use and care. 

​

ACS Tools (CakeTiles, CakeReliefs and The Transparent Pressing Tool) are NOT dishwasher safe and should under no circumstances be washed with hot water or exposed to high temperatures, heat, steam and direct sunlight. 

​

Simply hand wash with room temperature water and dry with clean towel. Store DRY CakeTiles and CakeReliefs in the storage pouch provided.

 

Do not soak in warm or hot water. 

Do not expose to heat exceeding 50°C (122°F)

​

CakeTiles are not cookie cutters and should not be used as such.

Do not attempt to bend them or apply stress tests.

​

Please also note that because of the nature of the GreenTec materials used to manufacture A Cake Story CakeTiles, discoloration of the items is completely normal and does not affect its usage or quality.

Taxes and Customs Fees (including VAT)

Value added tax, or VAT, is the tax you have to pay when you buy goods or services. VAT is applied to all goods and services, regardless of their commercial value. For this reason, the destination country principle applies.

As imports, your order may be subject to fees (including VAT) which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. As the customer, you are responsible for the charges applied by your country.

A Cake Story Shop (Cerletti Cake Designs) is not responsible for these charges if/when they are applied.

These are some scams that look like they’re sent by Royal Mail, but are in fact fraud or phishing scams. Please don’t click on any of the links in these emails and be vigilant if you receive a communication which you aren’t sure about.

P.O. Box addresses

Orders will not deliver to P.O. Box addresses. Any orders placed using P.O. Box addresses will be cancelled/refunded MINUS shipping and fees.

Orders & Delivery:

A Cake Story Shop dispatches orders Monday to Friday and aim to dispatch within 1-2 days of receiving payment. Dispatch and delivery will not be made on a Bank Holidays.

Delivery estimates are based on postal and courier transit times i.e. the time that the package is likely to be processed and out for delivery, this does not include the day that the order is processed by A Cake Story Shop.

A Cake Story Shop (Cerletti Cake Designs) uses Swiss Post, which is the national postal service of Switzerland. As such, every effort is made to deliver goods within the estimated time scales.

International orders will use Registered International Shipping and will be provided a Tracking number and will be insured. Should a parcel not be received within 30 days of the shipping date, customers are to immediately notify A Cake Story Shop so that an investigation can be launched and any losses can be recovered. If a customer does not notify A Cake Story Shop within six months of the shipping date, an investigation cannot be launched and therefore will not accept liability for non-delivery under these circumstances.

Please be aware that delays are occasionally inevitable due to busy periods and unforeseen factors.

A Cake Story Shop (Cerletti Cake Designs) will not be held responsible for delivery delays beyond our reasonable control, for example: client did not use the correct address, global pandemic, strike action, 3rd party delays, traffic or weather constraints and therefore will not accept liability for late delivery under these circumstances.

In the event of requests for goods to be left at unattended premises (for example - in a garage) or with neighbors A Cake Story Shop (Cerletti Cake Designs) will endeavor to do so at the customers own liability.

If your parcel is returned due to being uncollected you will be liable for the original delivery charges along any charges we may incur for the return of these goods back to us.                   
If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect or insufficient address details provided on your order, you will be eligible for the cost of resending the parcel.  

Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met.

Cancellation / Returns Policy

A Cake Story Shop does not accept returns on perishable and consumable goods (I.E. food items). 

A Cake Story Shop does not accept returns or offer refunds on items that have been damaged due to improper care and use. Please see Care Instructions.

All sales are final, and there are not returns.

However, in the event where the wrong item was purchased, a customer can return a product within 7 business days of its receipt. The customer is responsible for paying for the costs if return shipping. The goods must be sent back using registered mail and within the 7 business days of the item being received. Once the goods have been received and are unused and not damaged, the customer will receive a  refund for the cost of the goods, not including initial shipping and fees. 

Refunds will only be issued once the items have been returned to ACS in the original packaging, show no signs of use and are not damaged. Please contact olivia@a-cake-story.com with tracking number of return package.

A Cake Story reserves the right to cancel orders at anytime with refund.

Orders placed that violate the aforementioned shipping restrictions will be cancelled and refunded MINUS the shipping and transaction fees.

Damages, Discrepancies & Non-Receipt:

Please send detailed claim to olivia@a-cake-story.com of non-delivery of your order within 7 days from the expected date of delivery, this allows ample, reasonable time to check with couriers whether your parcel is being held, tracking information can be provided and re-delivery or collection can be arranged.

Although best efforts are made to avoid breakages when the orders are packed these do sometimes occur; Please thoroughly check your package on arrival for any damages or missing items and report them within 48 hours or receiving your parcel.

You will be asked to provide for photographs of damages. Please send detailed claim and photo evidence to olivia@a-cake-story.com

In cases where items incur damage DURING transit we will only replace the goods free of charge once a detailed explanation or photographic evidence has been provided, as this will greatly aid the claims process filed with the carrier responsible for the delivery.
